WHAT IS SEW SATURDAY?

Sew Saturday is a highly successful annual campaign that celebrates our bricks-and-mortar haberdashers and fabric shops to inspire consumers to visit their local store. Now in its third year, this year's Sew Saturday event take places on Saturday 21st October 2017.

THIS YEAR'S EVENT: SEW SATURDAY 2017

For this year's Sew Saturday, we are continuing the success of last year's event and offering even more to bring stitchers into your shops. Our dachshund mascot is going to be a hit, and we've got lots of exclusive projects of our adorable dachshund mascot in toy, pincushion, embroidery, quilting and cross-stitch form!

The event has grown over the last two years, with more than 220 shops taking part in 2016. Stores reported of taking massive revenue from the event and were put on the map as a sewing hotspot by our Sew Saturday map, which has a new interactive element this year! Those who took part have reported their best day's trading since Christmas, and in many cases, for the entire year!
