Top sewing tip
Save up old envelopes, circulars or bills to recycle as paper templates. Matte paper is easier than shiny flyers! Manilla envelopes are a good weight, too, and can be reused a couple of times if you’re only tacking.
Meet the designer
From making children’s toys to crafting practical homeware, craft designer Chloe Hailwood uses her years of sewing experience to create one-of-a-kind patterns. You might have spotted Chloe’s work in national magazines, such as Sew, Make & Sew Toys and Homemaker.
