About this pattern

Embrace the faux taxidermy trend and add a little whimsy to a child’s bedroom or nursery with our fabric 3-D stag decoration sewing pattern.

Stitched in a selection of fun cotton prints and with felt eyes and proud antlers, this sewing project is simpler to construct than it may first appear. We’ve used an embroidery hoop base so it can easily be displayed by hanging on a nail in the wall.

Essentials

  • Cotton fabric, various prints
  • Felt, brown, beige, orange and peach
  • Fibre filling
  • Quilt wadding, scrap
  • Embroidery hoop, 20cm diameter
  • Thick mount board
  • Buttons, 7mm diameter, two
