    1. Download and print the templates from sewmag.co.uk. Press fusible webbing to the reverse of printed cotton. Place the letter templates on the reverse of each piece of fabric, ensuring the letters are laid back to front so that when they are cut out they are in the correct direction. Snip out the letters and peel away the backing paper. Press each letter to pieces of colourful felt. Trim around each letter, leaving a small 1-2mm border. Sew around each piece with contrasting thread.

    2. Cut random sized semicircles from scraps of cotton backed with fusible webbing. Using the arched top line of the semi-circle as a guide, snip another line below the top one to make a smooth arch shape. Snip out two felt clouds using the template. Arrange the arches in a fluffy pattern on one of the clouds.

    3. Press all the arches to the cloud before sewing a line over each piece, following the curve. Finish and tidy the threads on the cloud and letters, pull the ends through to the reverse sides, knot and trim. Lay the two cloud pieces together and sew around, changing thread colours along the way, adding in a loop of ribbon along the top edge for hanging.
