About this pattern

With Corinne Bradd's easy tutorial, you can make a handy triangular fabric weight in just three easy steps.

This beginner-friendly sewing project is fun and satisfying from start to finish. You’ll stitch a neat strap, shape a clever folded triangle, and fill it for weight.

Essentials

  • Fabric: 9cm x 17cm per weight; extra strip for strap, 2.5cm x 10cm per bag
  • Dry rice
  • Sewing thread
  • Small funnel (optional)

    Use a funnel when filling with rice and press seams firmly to keep the triangle shape crisp and stable.
