Easy Lined Pouch - First Sewing Project
Corinne Bradd loves a simple pocket pouch. They are invaluable for organising your handbag, sewing box, satchel, or craft tote. The best thing about a handsewn pouch is that the simple pattern means they can be adjusted to suit your needs or your available fabric. All those random rectangles of cotton can be used to make a host of handy pockets that will last for ages. Just concertina fold and stitch two pieces of fabric right sides together before turning out and adding a fastening. Tiny pouches are great for medication, make up, or bank cards. Go big and use them as an occasional clutch, document folder, or laptop case.
