Welcome to part two of our Easter Rabbit Quilt Block Sew-Along! In this step, we’ll show you how to transform your completed quilt block into a beautiful Easter-themed cushion. Perfect for beginners, this section features just three simple steps that will take you from block to finished cushion. Let’s finish this together!
Stitch a Pillow
Trim the wadding to the same size as the block. Add a border of four 3cm x 34cm strips of printed fabric and trim accordingly.
Cut one 16cm x 33cm and one 30cm x 33cm piece from plain cotton. Hem one long edge on each piece. Place over the cushion cover, right sides together with the longer piece overlapping the shorter one to create an envelope back.
Sew all around the cover, clip the corners and turn out. Press the seams and topstitch 2mm from the edge before inserting a cushion pad.
