About this pattern

Prepare for Santa’s arrival and follow our reindeer food bag sewing pattern.

Carolyn Letten’s project is not only a great way for you to sprinkle magic and whimsy into your child's festive celebrations, but it is also a brilliant opportunity for you to expand your sewing skill set. You’ll learn simple appliqué and free motion machine embroidery technique. This Christmas bag will also teach you how to sew French seams for added strength to ensure that your finished food bag stands the test of time, Christmas after Christmas.

Essentials

  • Cotton fabric: cream, red, printed
  • Narrow chevron ribbon, red and white, 20mm
  • Sequins, cream
  • Acid-free glue stick

    Top sewing tip

You could try enlarging the reindeer and words to make a festive Santa sack.
