About this pattern

If you’re looking for an heirloom toy to make and pass through the generations, this is the project for you.

Using beautiful floral fabrics, this sweet set is suitable for Easter and beyond. With two clothing options including an adorable dungaree and cute pinafore, and each rabbit is made using the same method – simply choose the Baby Bunny templates to stitch the smaller design.

  • Fabric, cotton: patterned, plain
  • Toy stuffing
  • Lightweight quilt wadding
  • Buttons: 10mm, 4 to match fabric; 10mm, 2 for eyes; 4mm, 4 for clothing
  • Snap fasteners, 4
  • Elastic, 5mm wide
  • Embroidery thread
  • Doll-making needle

    Top sewing tip

    If you’re making for a very small child use safety joints. One half of these is fitted inside the limbs before stuffing, then connected to the body before this is stuffed. Safety eyes are attached to the head in a similar way before stuffing.
