About this pattern

Learn machine embroidery with Carolyn Letten's fun reusable cracker project.

Thanks to their nifty reusable design these crafty crackers won’t break, nor break the bank – and they’re perfect for refilling again and again! Make your festive table ‘pop’ by matching and coordinating the tableware to your personal fabric favourites. Plus, by filling them with sweet treats or age-appropriate toys and trinkets yourself, it’s easy to tailor them to suit the preferences of all the little kiddos in your life. While you’re at it, why not stitch extra felt heads to sew or glue onto fabric napkin rings for an additional matchy-make?

Essentials

  • Fabric: red, white, fawn patterned; contrasting colours, three
  • Felt: skin-toned, white, white glitter, red, green, brown
  • Cardboard loo roll, three
  • Pom pom: glitter, red; white
  • Trimming: red, green
  • Ribbon, chevron: red, green
