About this pattern

Put out the mince pies, the carrots and Carolyn Letten's elf legs stocking.

Hanging up a stocking is one of our favourite festive traditions, and we love Carolyn Letten’s unique design! Complete with classic pointy elf shoes and a pom-pom trimmed tunic, the whole family will fondly remember this project for years to come. The legs can be filled with presents and surprises, or alternatively, lightly fill them with stuffing and stitch across the top.

Essentials

  • Fabric, cotton: bright green, red, black
  • Felt, white glitter
  • Pom-pom trim: red, green
  • Bias binding, spotty green, 2.5cm wide
  • Ribbon: red and white, silver
  • Buttons, red, two
