About this pattern

Decorate for Christmas with Cheryl Owen's felt cactus sewing project.

Full of Christmas cheer, Calvin the cactus is a delight to be near – and easy to spot from afar due to his colourful display of lights! Unlike a classic fir tree, this pretty plant is incredibly low maintenance and promises not to make a mess on your living room floor. Never happier than when he’s the centre of attention, Calvin is sure to become a beloved Christmas heirloom little ones will love bringing out year after year. The brighter the colours of the lights, the better! Make sure to dab the string ends with glue to stop them unravelling.
