Top sewing tip
Snipping at intervals along a seam allowance is vital for a smooth curved edge. Clipping concave curves allows the material to stretch further, while removing V-shaped notches from convex curves prevents bulking. Cut diagonally beside corners to remove excess fabric, snipping closely without cutting through your stitching.
