About this pattern

Escape the everyday with a trip to Carolyn Letten's wintery log cabin.

Surrounded by pure white sparkly snow and frost covered trees, this fabulous felt embroidery is sure to give you that ‘winter wonderland’ feeling – we’re thinking log fires, mulled wines, and a cheeky mince pie (or two!). Designed by Carolyn Letten, this project is all about texture, helping you to achieve stunning results with the use of fabric, felt and even some netting.

Back with a thin layer of polycotton to prevent a build-up of fibres around the machine’s feed dogs and stop the felt from stretching

Owner of The Bobbin Bird, Carolyn Letten works from her Scarborough studio creating textile art inspired by the beautiful Yorkshire Coast & Moors. She also teaches free motion machine embroidery workshops and is a freelance designer for creative publications.
