About this pattern

We think you’ll adore our Chloe lace collar jersey knit top sewing pattern.

Everyday comfort gets a pretty twist with this delicate Peter Pan collar and striped T-shirt combo from designers Posner & Posner. You can either create your own collar from lace, or simply buy a premade one since they’re so on-trend right now. Pair your jersey top with shorts, jeans or a skirt for an effortless look that will see you through the year.

Essentials

  • Fabric 1.5m (150cm)
  • Button, 15mm, one
  • Lace, 50cm or pre-made collar

    Top sewing tip

A ball point needle is great for sewing knit fabrics because it has a round tip and pushes the fibres aside when sewing rather than piercing them.

    Suggested fabrics

Stable knit fabrics with up to 25% stretch, such as jersey.

    Meet the designer

Posner & Posner is a handcrafted, handprinted textile label created by British designers Susan Posner and Naomi Posner-Coxon. Naomi is the printmaker and textile artist, screen printing and block printing to create bold and colourful patterned fabrics and then stitching them into accessories and homewares. Susan is the clothes designer and pattern maker, specialising in children’s and adult wear.
