Download and print the templates. Cut green button print, 27cm x 47cm. Using pink thread, stitch a length of pink bias tape across the long top edge, then iron on the reverse. Snip flesh fabric, 11cm x 26cm. Back it with medium weight iron-on interfacing. Trace the words from the template onto white tissue paper and secure it with washi tape. Using dark teal thread, sew over the words. Tear the paper away, then stitch over the words again. Iron on the reverse.
Cut out the sewing machine from the template provided, then cut out a slightly larger rectangle of apricot felt. Use washi tape to hold the template in place to the right of the writing, then secure the piece of felt underneath. Use orange thread to sew the outline and details. Trim away the excess felt close to the stitching. Add further details to the needle and dials using grey thread. Snip a small piece of lilac felt, place it as the bobbin on top of the machine, then use purple thread to add detail across the bobbin and down through the needle.
Place the panel centrally on the green button fabric, 3cm down from the top edge of the pink bias binding. Using green thread, stitch around it twice just in from the raw edge. Iron on the reverse. Cut sewing notion print, 47cm square and lay right side up. Lay the button section right side up across the bottom half so the side and bottom edges align. Sew a 5mm seam down both sides and across the bottom.
