    Top quilting tip

For a crisp diagonal cross hatch pattern, start by marking a 45° line from corner to corner using a ruler and fabric-safe marker. Quilt along this line, then use a quilting guide or ruler to space subsequent lines evenly. Stitch slowly and pivot carefully at intersections for clean, consistent results.
