    Top quilting tip

For a smooth quilt sandwich, start by taping your backing fabric taut to a clean, flat surface, right side down. Layer the wadding next, then the quilt top right side up. Smooth each layer as you go to prevent wrinkles. Use curved safety pins or spray tack to secure everything evenly.
