About this pattern

If you’re after some fun home décor this season, check out this quirky project by Carolyn Letten – it looks good enough to eat!

Made from a mixture of soft brown corduroy, patterned cotton and embroidered snowy felt, it’s a quintessential combination of festive colours. Experiment with decorative free-motion stitches on a piece of scrap fabric first to master the technique.

Essentials

  • Fabric, cotton: red, green spot
  • Corduroy, brown
  • Felt: white, cream
  • Wadding
  • Fibre filling
  • Black and brown buttons, various sizes
  • Stones or similar for weights

    Top sewing tip

Reduce the size of the templates to make mini pudding decorations for the Christmas tree.
