About this pattern

Protect your A4 journal in style with this quilted notebook cover by Julie Alderson.

Combining patchwork, quilting and ribbon accents, it uses four fat quarters, wadding, and essential haberdashery. Designed to fit notebooks up to half an inch thick, it’s both practical and beautifully crafted for everyday use.

• Fat quarter each in navy, sky blue, floral and pale yellow
• 1¼m, 12mm Gold satin ribbon
• 14", 22mm Blue ribbon
• 25cm Medium weight iron-on Vlieseline
• Scrap fusible web e.g. Bondaweb

Note if your journal is thicker or thinner than Julie’s, the width of these sky blue strips can be adjusted to ensure centre panel remains centred on front of journal cover.
