Celebrate the beauty of nature with Wildflower, a stunning quilt design by Kerry Foster.

Fat quarter friendly and fun to make, this project features a single block in four clever variations, forming striking yellow stretched hexagons at the heart of the layout for a fresh, floral-inspired finish.

  • • 1¾m Ice Peach Kona Solid
  • • 50cm Storm Kona Solid
  • • 3, Fat quarters pale green*
  • • 3, Fat quarters cream*
  • • 2, Fat quarters dark red*
  • • 2, Fat quarters golden yellow*
  • • 40cm Dark red - binding
  • • 60" Square wadding
  • • 3¼m Backing
  • PIECING
  • *If preferred, you could use just one fabric for each of these colours instead of two or three.

    Top sewing tip

    Chain stitch whenever possible to speed up the piecing process.

    Kerry Foster is a UK‑born crafter, content creator and author. Renowned for her animal portrait quilts using turned‑edge applique, she teaches online and in‑person classes, and has published over 60 magazine projects
