One of the most important annual events in the crafting industry, the British Sewing Awards is run every year by Sew magazine. There are three stages to these awards: the nomination process starts in March, when the sewing and haberdashery community nominates its favourites in 19 categories.
This is then shortlisted and put to a vote, along with bonus categories hand-picked by an expert judging panel. Finally, the overall winners will be announced at the end of the year - sit tight!
This is your chance to let us know what your much-loved brands and products are in the sewing world. Simply complete the online form and you will automatically be entered into our prize draw. Once the nominations have closed, we will shortlist the top choices in each category.
Once we have received your nominations, we’ll count up all the responses and pull together a shortlist of the most popular nominees in each category. We will then unveil the list and give you the chance to vote for your favourites.
You will now have the chance to vote for your favourites from the shortlisted companies. These awards are highly valued by the biggest names in the industry as they’re voted for by you! Cast your vote and you’ll be in with the chance of winning a fantastic prize.
Look out for the November issue of Sew magazine where we’ll reveal the winning and highly commended designers, shops and brands in this year’s awards. This issue hits the shops from 12th November 2020.Nominate Now
