One of the most important annual events in the crafting industry, the British Sewing Awards is run every year by Sew magazine. There are three stages to these awards: the nomination process starts in April, when the sewing and haberdashery community nominates its favourites. This is then shortlisted and put to a vote, along with bonus categories hand-picked by an expert judging panel. The overall winners are announced at the end of the year.
This is your chance to let us know what your much-loved brands and products are in the sewing world. Readers who completed the online form will automatically be entered into our prize draw. We will now shortlist the top choices in each category.
Once we have received your nominations, we’ll count up all the responses and pull together a shortlist of the most popular nominees in each category. We will then unveil the list and give you the chance to vote for your favourites.
The British Sewing Awards are an opportunity for you to have your say and tell us about your favourites. Submit your votes before the closing date of 24th September 2021 and you’ll be automatically entered into our prize draw.
Look out for a future issue of Sew magazine, where we reveal all of the winning and highly commended designers, shops and brands in this year's awards. This issue will hit the newsstand in late 2021.
